The Three Major Groupings within Christianity

Although that Christianity is the religion most known in the world and sometimes is referred to as one faith, there are various denominations in christianity and three major groupings Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Protestantism.

Roman Catholic:
The roman catholic church is the world's largest christian church with over a billion members led by the pope.
The roman catholic doctrine maintains that the church is infallible when it definitively teaches a doctrine of faith or morals.
catholic beliefs concerning Mary include her Immaculate conception and bodily assumption at the end of her earthly life.

Eastern Orthodox Church:
The second largest Christian denomination in the world, Eastern Orthodox theology is strongly trinitarian. God exists in the three persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Humanity is believed to be created in God's image, but is corrupted through sin. Death is conquered by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and new life is given through the Holy Spirit.
Unlike the Roman Catholic Church, which regards the Holy Spirit as proceeding from the Father and the Son, the Eastern Orthodox Church claims that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father through the Son. Only the first seven ecumenical councils are recognised as authoritative. As in Roman Catholicism seven sacraments are recognised: baptism, confirmation, the Eucharist, penance, extreme unction, holy orders, and matrimony.

Protestantism:

a movement that began in Germany in the early 16th century as a reaction against medieval Roman Catholic doctrines and practices, especially in regards to salvation, justification, and ecclesiology

It shares with all other Christians core beliefs in the doctrines of the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus, the necessity of grace to save humans from the consequences of sin, and the centrality of Jesus' death and resurrection for salvation
Led by Martin Luther, John Calvin, and others, the reformers broke from the Roman Catholic Church due to abusive ecclesiological structures and theological differences.

Christian Holidays

Christmas:
An annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Celebrated generally on December 25, as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world.
Christmas is the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, who is considered the Son of God, and the savior of all people. With the birth of Christ, Christianity essentially begins; thus, Christmas also celebrates the beginning of Christianity.

Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving is a national harvest holiday celebrated primarily in North America. In Canada, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the second Monday in October. In the United States, it is celebrated on the last Thursday in November and commemorates a meal shared between colonists and Native Americans in 1621.
Although it is rooted in the history of the Pilgrims (who were Christian "Separatists"), the American Thanksgiving is no longer generally considered a religious holiday, but a day to gather with family, eat an astounding amount of food, watch football and parades, and be thankful for the blessings of life.

Lent:
Lent (also called the Lenten Season) is a 40-day period of fasting and repentance in preparation for the celebration of Easter.

Easter:
Easter is a spring festival that celebrates the central event of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Christ three days after his death by crucifixion. Easter is the oldest Christian holiday and the most important day of the church year. All the Christian movable feasts and the entire liturgical year of worship are arranged around Easter.
Easter Sunday is preceded by the season of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting and repentence culminating in Holy Week, and followed by a 50-day Easter Season that stretches from Easter to Pentecost.
The origins of the word "Easter" are not certain, but probably derive from Estre, an Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring.

Valentine's Day:
Valentine's Day is a celebration of romantic love occurring annually on February 14.
Although it is associated by legend with a Catholic saint named Valentine, Valentine's Day is not a religious holiday and never really has been. Valentine's Day has historical roots mainly in Greco-Roman pagan fertility festivals and the medieval notion that birds pair off to mate on February 14.
The custom of exchanging cards and other tokens of love on February 14 began to develop in England and France in the 14th and 15th centuries and became especially popular in the United States in the 19th and 20th centuries. Over the last decade or so, Valentine's Day observance has even spread to the Far East, India, and the Middle East.

How to Get a Good Night's Sleep

Tossing and turning, nothing as frustrating as not being able to sleep, Your mind is going over everything that happened today and noises are keeping you awake.
How can you do to get some sleep?

DISCOVER ELDAR KABIRI ON INSTAGRAM HERE.

Here are some tips that i find helpful:

  • Go to sleep when you're tired and not at a set time. This will reduce the time you spend awake in bed.
  • Naps are the enemy. A person with sleep problems are not allowed to have a nap after 3 PM and for no more then 45 min'.
  • The bed is designed for sleep and sex only. it is bad to read in bed, eat in bed, watch TV in bed - The bed should stimulate a pavlovian response of fatigue in your body, when you use it only for sleep (and sex)
  • Avoid a caffeine and nicotine in the course of at least six hours before going to sleep- as thay are stimulants that interfere with your ability to fall asleep
  • Avoid exercise before going to sleep - exercise stimulates the body and that is the last thing you need before you go to bed.
  • if you go in bed and find that after fifteen minutes you didn't fall asleep - get out of bed and do something tiring like Sit quietly in the dark or read the manufacturer's instructions for the microwave oven.
  • It is important to eat a little something before going to sleep, this will ensures that your stomach will not be empty so you can fall asleep.
  • A warm bath before bed time raises the temperature of your body - and makes you sleepy
  • Set your biological clock - every morning when you wake up, go out and face the sun for about 15 minutes, this will help your body "set" it's biological clock to Light = awake and as a result of that, darkness = sleepy.

How to Prevent Back Pain

Although upper back pain is not a very common spinal disorder, it can cause significant discomfort and pain when it does occur. The most common causes of upper back pain are muscular irritation and joint dysfunction.

In bed:
if you have a bed that does not offer your back enough support, it could be the reason why you wake up with back-stiffness so one part of protecting your back is having the correct mattress for you.
In The Car:
we spend a significant portion of our days in the car and never think about the seat of the car causing pains in our back so bring your seat close enough to the steering wheel to minimize the reach for your hands to grasp the wheel and roll up a towel to about the size of your forearm, and place this in the small of your back. If your seat has a tilt adjustment, start with your body sitting up perfectly straight, and tilt it slightly backward but not too much. Keep your buttocks against the back of the seat so that they do not creep forward, causing you to slump.

At Work: FOR MORE VIDEOS AND TUTORIALS CLICK HERE.

As your home-away-from-home, your office is just as least as important as your home if not more. you spend hours and hours in a chair and that can't be good for the back. Many aches and pains in the upper back, and possibly even headaches, may result from the muscles of the upper back growing tired of supporting the weight of the arms. Armrests support the weight of your arms and allow your neck and shoulder muscles to relax. Some people use a wrist rest to support the weight of their arms when they do not have arm rests on their chairs. These can certainly help, but be careful to use them correctly. They are designed to support your wrists and arms when you stop typing, not while you type.

While Exercising:
If your back hurts, you will probably stop exercising. But if you stop exercising, you are more likely to injure your back. it is a vicious cycle even if you hurt your back is important to exercise, the movement keeps joints in your back loose and lubricated so try to choose a variety of exercises that will condition different areas of your back and total body. However, choosing an exercise that you enjoy is as important as choosing an exercise that you need.

Home Fitness Equipment - A Home Gym

Before you buy anything, keep this in mind: Starting with something you've never tried before makes it harder to succeed!
First you need to ask yourself three important questions:
1. How much space do I have?
2. What do I enjoy doing?
3. What's my budget?

DISCOVER ELDAR KABIRI ON INSTAGRAM HERE.

Space:
Is there room in your house/ apartment to can be used fo a home gym?
if so, what do you plan to put in it? do you want to have a flat-screen TV and a atereo system to get that "Gym" feeling at home or do you plan to get some dumbbells and an exercise ball and be dome with it. and it brings me to the next question;

What do I enjoy doing:
Professional fitness centres or gyms are fully equipped to meet the needs of a variety of people, you, on the other hend, have the abilty to equip your home gym with only the equipment and Instrumentation you want and need. for example: Fitness bike, if you don't plan to use one or if you own a bicycle and use them on a daily basis, you have no need for fitness bike in your home gym, since you probably will not use them and it will be considered as a bad investment. the more you like something, the more often you'll do it and the harder you'll work Which brings me to the most important question:

Budget:
How much money you plan to spend on a home gym? do you think that the result justifies the expense.
see how much money you spend in a year for your gym membership, multiply by three (since three years are the minimum time before your home gym will need maintenance) if the total amount is something you can afford - go for it!

Once you answer these three questions, you can go ahead and start to equip your home gym room
Make sure to compare prices of different suppliers and you can look for second hand equipment since professional instrumentation is very expensive and fitness centres and gyms always upgrade the equipment and most of the time Sell the old equipment at a discount.

I wish you a pleasant and healthy training!

The Importance of Exercise

Lots of people today are significantly less physically active in their daily routine, due to the use of cars,  machinery, moving stairs, lifts, and so on...
However, physical activity is not only for athletes, energy input (food intake) becomes greater than energy output (activity) when we eat more than we need or use so that physical activity becomes essential for your health.

When one exercise, one's effort must exceed that of his normal daily activities.
As the exercise becomes easier, the intensity needs to gradually be increased so that a level of effort is maintained during every session.

There are several types of exercises types that can help you maintain your physical fitness:

Flexibility exercises- refers to the absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints. Flexibility is variable between individuals, particularly in terms of differences in muscle length of multi-joint muscles. Flexibility in some joints can be increased to a certain degree by exercise, with stretching a common exercise component to maintain or improve flexibility.
Quality of life is enhanced by improving and maintaining a good range of motion in the joints. Overall flexibility should be developed with specific joint range of motion needs in mind as the individual joints vary from one to another. Loss of flexibility can be a predisposing factor for physical issues such as pain syndromes or balance disorders.

Resistance training - Any training that uses a resistance to the force of muscular contraction:
Resistance training, also called weight training or strength training, is pitting muscles against a resistance such as a weight (for example, a dumbbell or barbell) or other type of resistance, to build the strength, anaerobic endurance, and/or size of skeletal muscles. A well-rounded program of physical activity includes strength training, to improve bone, joint function, bone density, muscle, tendon and ligament strength, as well as aerobic exercise, to improve your heart and lung fitness.

Aerobic exercise - physical exercise of relatively low intensity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process:
Using the same large muscle group, rhythmically, for a period of 15 to 20 minutes or longer while maintaining 60-80% of your maximum heart rate.
Think of aerobic activity as being long in duration yet low in intensity. Aerobic activities include: walking, biking, jogging, swimming, aerobic classes and cross-country skiing. Anaerobic activity is short in duration and high in intensity. Anaerobic activities include: racquetball, downhill skiing, weight lifting, sprinting, softball, soccer and football.
Aerobic means with air or oxygen. You should be able to carry on a short conversation while doing aerobic exercise. If you are gasping for air while talking, you are probably working anaerobically. When you work anaerobically, you will tire faster and are more likely to experience sore muscles after exercise is over.
